I expect the Chiefs to score 30+ points at home against a weak Bengal defense. I think Mahomes can throw for 300+ yards and 3+ touchdowns. The DFS Hero Optimizer projects him to be second in quarterback scoring behind Lamar Jackson, but the difference is only 0.14, making Mahomes the better value at $700 less.

Daniels’s run-first mentality in his first game was great for fantasy. He rushed 16 times and scored two touchdowns. I expect him to get at least 50 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown against the Giants, who will flush him out of the pocket. I think he can sneak in at least one TD pass against a bad Giant secondary. The DFS Hero Optimizer projects him to score over 20 fantasy points.

Fields must be considered vs. a bad Denver run defense. He should also surpass 50 yards rushing and has a great chance to reach the end zone. His price point allows you to afford the big-time receivers.

Jones is my favorite quarterback on the slate, and that was before DFS Hero Optimizer projected him as the most valued quarterback play. Last week, the Giants’ offense was horrendous, but that was against a quick Viking defense. This week, they take on the Commanders, a team I will pick on all season. Jones will throw for two touchdowns and gain a few yards on the ground.

The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Hall to lead all running backs in scoring. He can score from anywhere on the field and racks up fantasy points by catching the football. A touchdown should lock him in over 20 points.

I think the Chiefs have a chance to win comfortably, meaning the game script may favor Pacheco. You can stack him with Mahomes, hoping for a receiving touchdown, but I think he should be used in lineups that do not involve the Chiefs’ passing game. He should score, as I have the Chiefs scoring 30-plus points.

Williams scored just about every week he played last season, and that trend continued scoring in Detroit to open this season. He should score this week against a bad Arizona run defense. Look for 20 touches and 20-plus fantasy points.

Stevenson is the Patriot’s best offensive player, and it isn’t even close. He had a whopping 28 touches last week on his way to 24 fantasy points. Volume is king, and he has nobody pushing him for playing time. He may not get 28 touches this week, but it should be 20-plus.

Ford has no competition for playing time and should get 20 touches here. He was a solid contributor in the passing game; if that continues, he will break value more often than not at this price.

I lumped these two together to give you a scenario for both. Last week, these two split the carries, with Dobbins making the most of them with 135 yards and a touchdown. Will the Chargers go away from Edwards and give Dobbins a boost in volume? Or does Edwards remain a focal point?

Most will play Dobbins, but I think Edwards will find the end zone. Well, maybe both will, as the Carolina run defense is horrible, and they lost their best run-stopper last week. It is a good bet that one of these backs will shine, and I am learning Edwards is the better fantasy play.

CMC is out, so Mason is an exceptional play. He is severely mispriced, as the prices came out before he was officially named the starter last Monday night. Regardless of position, the DFS Hero Optimizer projects him as the top projected player. He will be 40-plus percent owned, making him a fade candidate, but if he has a good game, you have no chance of winning.

Lamb had 10 targets in a game they didn’t need to throw for the majority of the second half. Look for even more targets this week in what should be a closer game. He has 100 yards and a touchdown.

St. Brown was left out last week but should get back to normal here. I think QB Jarred Goff finds him early and often vs. the Tampa Two defense. I have him scoring 20-plus fantasy points in what should be a high-scoring game.

The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Kupp as the highest-valued and highest-scoring receiver on the slate. QB Matt Stafford consistently looked his way, as he had 14 catches last week. He looks like the receiver who dominated in 2021. The Cardinals have nobody who can cover him, and he is my favorite receiver on the slate despite his heavy ownership.

Rice was excellent last week. He scored 20 fantasy points without reaching the end zone. He gets in this week and should break 20 points again.

Cooper only had two catches last week but dropped a 50-yard touchdown. I think quarterback Deshaun Watson targets him early and often. The DFS Hero Optimizer projects his ownership at under 5%, making him a nice contrarian play.

As mentioned, I think the Buccaneers could be in for a high-scoring game at Detroit. Look for the Lions to pay special attention to WR Mike Evans by not allowing him to beat them deep. Godwin can catch all the short and intermediate routes, and Detroit was more than willing to give that up to Kupp last week.

If Daniel Jones is my favorite quarterback, I better like his receivers. I think Nabers scores his first touchdown while Robinson could have 7 catches for 70 yards, making him a huge bargain if he scores. You can stack one or both with Jones for leverage. Remember, the Commanders’ pass defense stinks, and I think the Giants can bounce back here.

Iosivas let 40% of DFS players down last week, but he should be considered again this week. WR Tee Higgins will most likely not play, leaving Iosivas to see a ton of action. I think the Chiefs try to take away Ja’Marr Chase leaving Iosivas open underneath. We see a player bounce back the following week after having a disappointing week.

The DFS Hero Optimizer projects McBride to finish second in tight end scoring and value. I think he can have a solid week here vs. a Rams defense that hasn’t played the tight end well in the past.

Engram looks to bounce back this week and should see more targets. The Optimizer projects him as the third highest-valued tight end. I think the game is going to be higher-scoring, giving Engram a good chance to score.

It’s just a matter of time before Bowers is in a winning lineup at this price. He should have 5 plus grabs every week, meaning a TD crushes value.

I think Andrews scores at home this week. Many will look to Isiah Likely as he had the monster week, but Andrews may go unnoticed here.

I love Parkinson this week. He is a big target and should get a boost in targets. The DFS Hero Optimizer projects him as the top projected valued tight end, making him a strong punt play at this position.

The Steelers are a swarming defense that likes to go after the quarterback. Denver has no respectable running game and no superstars on offense. Look for Bo Nix to face a ton of heat, and I expect turnovers.

The Panthers’ offense looks horrible, and the Chargers should control it without problems. Look for several sacks and some turnovers.
